Passenger Service Facility Charge (PSFC)

Passenger Security Service Charge (PSSC)
 |
| PSFC is used to cover the cost of maintaining and managing the lobbies, shuttle system, elevators and other terminal transportation facilities as well as the flight information system and various other facilities. It is also used to provide baggage carts and passenger information services.
|
PSSC is used to cover the expense of providing services such as baggage inspections and security checks using high-performance inspection devices as well as passenger terminal security maintenance to ensure passenger safety. |

• How many hours before the flight should I arrive at the airport?
• How many hours before the flight can I check in?
Normally, most airlines begin check-in procedures two and a half hours before departure time and complete them an hour before the flight. However, starting and closing times vary by airline. Please check directly with your airline. |

There are no sightseeing tour facilities at Narita Airport. However, you can view tourism guides to Japan on our web site. You can also make local hotel reservations.

| Pets |
Regulations at Narita Airport forbid pets in the passenger terminal areas (excluding guide dogs, etc.). This does not apply to caged animals being checked in for transportation on an aircraft. Airport visitors are asked to refrain from bringing their pets with them. |
