More stringent security screening will be conducted accompanying the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

With the 2019 Rugby World Cup being held in Japan, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has issued a directive that more stringent security screening be implemented from 13 September 2019. 

Please ensure that you arrive at the airport early as there may congestion at security checkpoints.

By directive from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, drones (unmanned aircraft) in cabin baggage are completely prohibited from 13 September to 5 November 2019.

Customers carrying drones are asked to check them in with their luggage*.

* Please confirm with your airline since some drones may not be able to be checked in either because of their size or the type of batteries they use.
