Restriction on carry-on liquids
(for international flights)
There are restrictions on liquids that can be brought on board the aircraft(for international flights).
For international flights, all liquids stored in containers with a capacity exceeding 100 ml(g) are prohibited from being brought onto the aircraft.
However, liquids can be brought with you in the following cases. *100ml(g)=3.4ounces
How to pack carry-on items
-
・Store liquid in containers with capacities not greater than 100 ml (g), and place the containers so that they fit comfortably in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a capacity of not more than 1 liter*. * Even if a container measures less than 100 ml, it cannot be brought on board if it is not placed in the plastic bag.
-
・The recommended dimensions for the plastic bags are within 20 cm wide x 20 cm high. Expandable bags cannot be used as their capacities will exceed 1 liter.
Passengers are responsible for purchasing their own the plastic bags. Bags can be purchased at convenience stores, home centers, and other locations. (Note: Each passenger is permitted to have only one plastic bag.)

Security Restricted Areat
To ensure safe operation of aircraft, all passengers are asked to undergo security screenings before boarding.
The area passengers enter following the security screening is called Security Restricted Area and has been certified to be secure.
All passengers in Security Restricted Area have already undergone baggage screening, so this area has the same level of security as the aircraft cabin.
Passengers are treated as though they are on board the aircraft, and therefore are permitted to make purchases.

To facilitate smoother screening:
We ask that you familiarize yourself with the carry-on liquid restrictions and prepare these items before leaving your home.
Also, if you will be carrying liquids on board the aircraft, your security screening will be much smoother by placing the liquids on a separate tray before passing through the X-ray machines.
