Passengers who previously have been unable to purchase liquids (alcohol, cosmetics, etc.) at duty-free shops due to regulations limiting volume of liquids carried by transit passengers will now be able to purchase those items.

Passengers who previously have been unable to purchase liquids (alcohol, cosmetics, etc.) at duty-free shops due to regulations limiting volume of liquids carried by transit passengers will now be able to purchase those items.

Those passengers are now able to purchase alcohol and other liquid items exceeding 100 ml at airport duty-free shops as long as they are sealed in STEBs.

・STEBs have not been adopted in some countries and regions and, in some cases, passengers may be asked to surrender their liquid items.
For further information on whether STEBs are accepted at your transit airport, please ask the shop staff when making your purchase.

・Liquids sealed in STEBs may have to undergo inspection at the transit airport.
Depending on the inspection results, passengers may be asked to surrender their liquid items.
