Visitor Service Center Open on the Arrival Level in Terminal 1!

TheVisitor Service Center is now open on the arrival level in Terminal 1. This is a one-stop location for information and services to foreign visitors with the aim of offering a greater sense of reassurance and convenience during their stay in Japan.

Overview of Facilities (Central Counter)

The central counter affords customers a smooth means of taking care of everything from obtaining Japanese tourism information and preparing travel plans to suit individual needs, to arranging accommodation and tours, and purchasing tickets.

Tourist Information Center

  • Operating hours: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., everyday
  • Provides information on travel in Japan (tourism information) and answers customer inquiries on transport and other matters.

Travel and Ticket Sales Outlet(JTB Narita International Airport Terminal 1 Travel Center)

  • Operating hours: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., everyday
  • In addition to tour products for visitors to Japan, this counter offers reservations for traditional inns and hotels throughout the country, as well as sales of tickets for theme parks and transport services including JR trains, planes and buses.

Transit & Stay Program Reception Counter

  • Operating hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., everyday
  • Service for international transit passengers and visitors to Japan staying at local hotels around Narita Airport. Provides free tours by volunteer English-speaking guides with the opportunity of experiencing the natural beauty and culture of Japan. The counter also offers information on fee-based sightseeing bus tours for excursions around Narita Airport.

Overview of Facilities (Tourism Information Area)

Next Generation Interactive Signage

This signage system offers flight and ground transport information, etc. and also uses precision indoor digital maps to supply terminal information as well as directions to boarding gates simply by scanning the boarding pass. It is designed to incorporate Universal Design features such as easy-to-access screen buttons and provides routes with elevators and fewer level changes for the benefit of wheelchair users. The objective is to provide more value in the airport experience for all airport users.

Tablet Computer Corner

Using TABIMORI-Travel Amulet-, Narita Airport's hospitality app for visitors to Japan, customers can search for sightseeing, transport and any other information they require. The app also offers currency conversions and guides to train connections as well as information on life and culture in Japan.

Promotion Space and a Pamphlet Corner

A promotion space has been set up within the area as the first such facility in the arrival lobby of Narita Airport. This space is offered to local governments and companies who wish to hold promotions and events using booths, digital signage and pamphlets, and is also useful to customers in obtaining a wide variety of information.
