NADC seeks to amplify the impact of the NEW NARITA AIRPORT Project on the region. With the 2025 “Airport City” concept, we aim to build an international industrial hub that boosts air travel demand, drives economic growth, and enhances Japan’s global competitiveness.

- The Narita Airport “Airport City” concept was presented as “starting point for discussion” aimed at the integrated development both inside and outside the airport . From now on, NADC will continue discussions with various stakeholders, including local communities and businesses, and work to connect these discussions to concrete measures and projects by each entity.
- As “connecting point” among stakeholders, NADC will work to enhance the overall value of the area by promoting external coordination, facilitating collaboration, and providing matching support . Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries or requests.

Haruno Ishida (ISHIDA HARUO)
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1951. Graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Tokyo in 1974. After completing graduate school, served as Assistant at the Department of Civil Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Lecture in Social Engineering at the University of Tsukuba. Subsequently held positions as Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Social Engineering Division, and Special Advisor to the President. Retired in 2017 upon reaching mandatory retirement age and was appointed Professor Emeritus.
