We are focusing on the expansion of network in anticipation of the aviation demand that is expected to grow further in the future.
Restart NRT
Restart NRT, which is a mid-term management plan of NAA Group from 2022 to 2024, upholds the concept of "reinforcement of (passengers) network through co-creation with partners" as one of the creation/innovation themes to be addressed.
The first focused policy thereof is the further promotion of making Narita Airport a base for air carriers. By also making efforts to develop effective incentives, we support the start of new flights and the entrenchment thereof by middle- and long-distant LCCs, in addition to the existing air carriers, with an aim to obtain the transit demand between Asia and North America.
The second is the development of a network through joint marketing with local companies. For international flights, we aim to realize flights to secondary cities in regions such as China, Southeast Asia, and India, while cooperating with local tourism offices and travel agencies aiming to start flights to Tokyo. For domestic flights, we work on the enhancement of attracting LCC flights to areas with no flights, such as Tohoku, San-in, and Hokkaido, and the improvement of the convenience of transit coping with inbound demand.
By promoting such network enhancement, we aim to continuously be an airport that is further convenient for customers in Japan and abroad.
