Landing charge/ Parking charge
International landing charge
The international landing charge is calculated by multiplying the charge rate according to the aircraft noise level by the maximum take-off weight (MTOW). Charge rate differs by the category of Aircraft Noise Index, as shown in the table below.

What is the Aircraft Noise Index?
The Aircraft Noise Index is applied to aircraft certified according to Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, and the noise level compared to the standards for three measurement points (flyover, sideline, approach) provided in Chapter 3, Volume I of the Annex (ICAO Chapter 3) is categorized from A to F.
Aircraft is regarded as complying with the category when the two standards of each category as shown in the table below are simultaneously fulfilled.

Remarks 1: The weight unit used for the calculation of charge (MTOW) is ton, and less than 1 ton will be calculated as 1 ton. When the weight is shown in the yard-pound system, it will be converted at 1,000 pounds to 0.45359243 ton.
Remarks 2: If the calculated amount is less than JPY50,000, the minimum landing charge of JPY50,000 is applied.
International parking charge
International parking charge is calculated according to the following method for each time of parking.
(a) When the time of parking is less than 6 hours: Amount multiplying the MTOW of aircraft by JPY200.
(b) When the time of parking is 6 hours or more: In addition to the amount provided in (a), the amount equivalent to (a) will be charged for every 24 hours after the first 6 hours. (Less than 24 hours will be calculated as 24 hours.)

When more than one baggage claim carousel is used on arrival, a charge of JPY9,400 is applied for each additional carousel.
Remarks 1: National and local consumption taxes are not included in the BHS charge.
Remarks 2: The "number of seats" in the table refers to the maximum seating capacity not including crew seats.
Passenger boarding bridge (PBB) charge
The charge will be applied only to international flights.

Passenger service facilities charge (PSFC) and passenger security service charge (PSSC)
A passenger service facility charge (PSFC) and a passenger security service charge (PSSC) is collected from passengers who use Narita Airport. The charges are used to cover the cost of maintaining common areas in the passenger terminals, providing passenger information, maintaining security and ensuring that our customers can use Narita Airport in comfort and with confidence. We ask for your understanding concerning these charges.

*1 MTOW and aircraft Noise Index shown here are just examples, not general classifications. The Index is based on the certificated noise levels of an aircraft relative to the ICAO Chapter 3 standard, which may vary widely according to aircraft type, weight, engine type, and other configuration. For precise rating, certificated weight and noise data is required.
*2 International landing charge can be obtained by multiplying MTOW with one of the 6 charge rates assigned to an aircraft based on the Aircraft Noise Index rating categories: A = JPY1,550/t, B = JPY1,650/t, C = JPY1,750/t, D = JPY1,850/t, E = JPY1,950/t, and F = JPY2,000/t.
*3 After the first 6 hours, the same charge applies for each 24-hour period.
*4 Baggage handling facility (BHS) charges depend on the number of seats of the aircraft. The charges cited in this table are based on the average number of seats on each type of aircraft and assume that the aircraft is to operate at Terminal 2.
*5 This rate applies under the assumption that an aircraft is to operate at Terminal 2; the amount shown is the sum of the charges for both arrival and departure flights.
