Notice Concerning Prohibition of Flying Drones In or Around the Airport

With the 2019 Rugby World Cup being played in Japan, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in or within 300 meters of the perimeter of Narita International Airport will be prohibited from Friday, 13 September to Tuesday, 5 November.

Be aware that unauthorized flights are subject to penalties under related legislation and regulations.

Bringing a UAV into the airport is also prohibited under the Narita International Airport Administrative Regulations.
Should you see a UAV in flight or an individual attempting to put a UAV in flight around the airport, please inform the police (telephone 110) immediately.
