The Government of the United States has directed that restrictions will apply to powder-like substances in cabin luggage for passengers boarding flights to the US.
Restrictions
Powder-like substances (such as flour, sugar, ground coffee, spices & cosmetics, etc.) in containers larger than 12 ounces (350ml - the size of a soda can) are prohibited in the aircraft cabin
*However, exceptions will be made for prescription medicines and infant formula to be used on the aircraft if they are confirmed to be safe by pre-boarding screening.
These restrictions do not apply to checked baggage.
