As of Sunday, September 1, 2024, the International Passenger Security Service Charge (PSSC) has been revised as follows. PSSC is paid by passengers on international flights at the same time as their airfare when they purchase air tickets and is used to cover the expense of providing services, such as security checks and baggage inspections, as well as passenger terminal security maintenance to ensure passenger safety.
