Jetstar Japan will launch a new route between Narita and Kaohsiung (Taiwan) from December 18, 2025. The GK17 flight is the earliest departure among all Kaohsiung flights from Narita Airport. This allows travelers who reside in Japan to maximize their time of stay in Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung is a port city located in the southern part of Taiwan, known for an attractive warm climate and open cityscape. In addition to the illuminated views along the Love River and the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas at Lotus Pond , the city offers many cultural and artistic spots, such as the Pier-2 Art Center . Moreover, it is a culinary paradise where visitors can savor famous seafood dishes at night markets, such as Liouhe Night Market and Ruifeng Night Market .
