RYUKEI is a type of art that expresses the magnificent scenery of nature inside an aquarium, using Japanese motifs. The world represented by combining driftwood, living plants, and flowing water gives the viewers the feeling of relaxation and healing. This solo exhibition is the culmination of 25 years of the artist’s creative pursuits. Enjoy thoroughly the “magnificent nature in miniature” that can be experienced indoors.

TAIJI is a terrarium artist. Since starting his creative activities in 1999, he has been creating many works, ranging from palm-sized works to a giant terrarium as large as a few meters wide. DOH-KEI, his work released in 2015, won the top award in the two most important contests for aquariums and was recognized as the best work in Japan. Recently, his works are being featured in many TV programs including “Bi No Tsubo” by NHK, magazines, and books.

NAA Art Gallery has on display paintings as well as a wide range of other art pieces, including photographs, illustrations and embroidery for the artistic enjoyment of airport users.
Non-passenger visitors to the airport are also welcomed to view the work on display.
